Three posts already up! Yeah, I move fast.. kind of. Sorry about the absence, but you'll finally see what I've been working on. It took me far longer than it should have to get set up on wordpress, but now that I'm there, I'm looking forward to a fresh start.

So, change your linkage and check me out here.

My dress is still in the wash, so I haven't had the chance to rock my leopard print legs, but I wanted to bring you some good looks from Nasty Gal Vintage since I've been myspacing a lot lately looking for a little inspiration.

Leopard Legs

The other day, inspired by my friends leopard-print leggings, I went out and bought a pair for myself. But the question remains: how the hell do I wear leopard print leggings without looking like white trash? So I've been doing a lot of blogging, some poly-whoring, and even a little facebook stalking to find out how other people did it, and here's what I've found:

So that's how THEY do it, will post again soon with my own version as soon as my dress is out of the wash.

Shoes for the big toe resentful of the others.

These modern Japanese shoes - the cross over point of comfort and casual style. As well as being covetable and modern, they also maintain an element of tradition. Kudos on acknowledging the comfort that comes when your big toe moves freely from the lesser toes.

Viva la Revolucion

Got back from the beach today, feeling a little lazy to write but I am now willing to acknowledge the fact that this blog should be revived.

My Knock-Off of a Knock-Off

You may have heard of the scandal about Forever 21 being the queen of knocking off high-end designers and getting sued all the time by the likes of Anna Sui and Diane von Furstenberg? Anyway, here in lowly, fashion-deprived Costa Rica, the designers don't even have the know to knock off the originals, instead they knock off the knock offs and you end up with an even more distorted version. Lucky for me, I don't even really care. Check out the following three dresses:

On the left is the original by Tibi, and on the right is the F21 knock off, and now, I bring you this:

This is the dress I bought yesterday at Aliss, the cheapest-ass department store in Costa Rica (well, after Carrion, I suppose) and it's made by a brand called New York Collection. Three cheers for those fun random finds!

Karlie Kloss

Only 15 years old, Karlie Kloss, an up and coming model/ballet dancer, has already walked the runways of Marc Jacobs, Carolina Herrera, Just Cavalli, Alberta Ferrera, Pucci, Alexander McQueen, and other big names.

I went to the thrift store to see what I could find

And what I found was:

High-Waisted Denim Shorts

High-Waisted YELLOW Denim Shorts

Cropped Military-Style Denim Jacket (Those are my school pants, haha.)

High-Waisted Suede Mini Skirt (The top on the left is also new)

Spotty Top

Knee-High Socks

All in all, I'd say it was a successful day of shopping, especially because I skipped off school to go down town. I have to admit though, I did cheat a bit, it's not ALL second hand. I bought some of it at a department store on the way to the thrift shops and some of it the day before at this warehouse store, Pequeno Mundo.

Ah, I hate how I always look like I'm drugged out when I'm tired...
